Example, Linux Mint, Ubuntu, and you name something else based on Ubuntu, will have problems with even old hardware, aka broadcom's wireless drivers.
Yes I said Linux' biggest problem is not M$, but Linux' community itself. Make Google and Apple give CREDIT where its due, in their Marketting/Advertising. Make it mandatory. Has anyone ever read the "About" section in the iOs devices? No one reads that. You guys want M$ to win? What has changed in the last 10 years since XP? And before anyone jumps in, I am a Backtrack user. Trolling complete.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7815163601468455669.post-83325265906580556542012-07-10T10:35:15.127-07:002012-07-10T10:35:15.127-07:00This is why people don't get Linux based OSs. ...This is why people don't get Linux based OSs. Linux is good for Mission critical and Specific tasking, such as Firmwares in devices that perform a specific or a very small number of tasks reliably and efficiently. Like Home Electronics, Lab equipment, Machines, etc. Linux is not for home users. Even Android blows chunks and iOs is a about as close to user friendly as you can get on a linux based general consumer software. You Linux people want to get serious? Stop naming your distros with Goofball names. Name it something that means business and then DELIVER. When something is user friendly, no one wants it even for free. Make applications easier to find and install. Linux problems are due to companies like Apple and Google. If all the Linux distros were easily compatible with each other, without issues, Linux could go somewhere. The only competition M$ has is NO ONE. How can you not compete? Linux is either for Goofballs by Goofuses, or for serious businesses like M$ (even they use Linux) so they can peddle their Windows which by the way gets the job done very well.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7815163601468455669.post-48415169782127120202012-07-10T10:24:43.659-07:002012-07-10T10:24:43.659-07:00So when is FUBARBuntu coming? So when is FUBARBuntu coming?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7815163601468455669.post-39532058421655481162012-07-07T23:05:10.674-07:002012-07-07T23:05:10.674-07:00I switch people to Linux every week and they love ...I switch people to Linux every week and they love it, too bad for micro crap bully boys.are you scared of changing from crap XP or win 7 garbage try Zorin 6 its the same but faster and reliable, no screen of death etc etc Also try Mint Terry.
Micro crap days are numbered.they have done there underhanded tactics for far too long, wage war buy or use the free versions of Linux.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7815163601468455669.post-24325589558281792012-07-07T22:56:27.115-07:002012-07-07T22:56:27.115-07:00this is typical of micro crap, because Linux is be...this is typical of micro crap, because Linux is better and fast catching up.
TerryAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7815163601468455669.post-57781498087340052822012-07-03T23:26:05.114-07:002012-07-03T23:26:05.114-07:00On the Dell Vostro 360, Ubuntu 12.10 Alpha 2 final...On the Dell Vostro 360, Ubuntu 12.10 Alpha 2 finally fixes the "X blink" bug but still needs extra boot parameters to enable "suspend" and brightness controls: http://is.gd/grpquant.GRPhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06135577155466413315noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7815163601468455669.post-70232594207207146242012-07-03T22:19:25.695-07:002012-07-03T22:19:25.695-07:00On the Dell Vostro 360, Ubuntu 12.10 Alpha 2 final...On the Dell Vostro 360, Ubuntu 12.10 Alpha 2 finally fixes the "X blink" bug but needs extra boot parameters to enable "suspend" and brightness controls: http://is.gd/grpquant.GRPhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06135577155466413315noreply@blogger.com
