Fuduntu : funny name but interesting distro launched version 2012.1

At first the name Fuduntu sounds funny but it is very interesting Linux distro. Basically Fuduntu is Fedora based later on it is independent Linux operating system lies between Fedora and Ubuntu. It comes with GNOME interface and available for both 32-bit and 64-bit architecture.

The last version of Fuduntu was released on 07 Nov, 2011 which was 14.12. The important thing of Fuduntu is that it gives aesthetic pleasure to user and very optimized. It comes with Linux Kernel 3.1.6. It has many in-built packages like chromium 16, LibreOffice 3.4.3, Firefox 9, ThunderBird 9, Banshee and VLC media player, Nautilus Elementry and much more.

  3. The fact that people are still talking about our name means that we've chosen a good name.

In the beginning we tried to combine the usability of Ubuntu with the base of Fedora, but now we're an independent distribution. We still try to do the same things but we're just not based on Fedora.

  8. This is why people don't get Linux based OSs. Linux is good for Mission critical and Specific tasking, such as Firmwares in devices that perform a specific or a very small number of tasks reliably and efficiently. Like Home Electronics, Lab equipment, Machines, etc. Linux is not for home users. Even Android blows chunks and iOs is a about as close to user friendly as you can get on a linux based general consumer software. You Linux people want to get serious? Stop naming your distros with Goofball names. Name it something that means business and then DELIVER. When something is user friendly, no one wants it even for free. Make applications easier to find and install. Linux problems are due to companies like Apple and Google. If all the Linux distros were easily compatible with each other, without issues, Linux could go somewhere. The only competition M$ has is NO ONE. How can you not compete? Linux is either for Goofballs by Goofuses, or for serious businesses like M$ (even they use Linux) so they can peddle their Windows which by the way gets the job done very well.

  9. Correction: When something is NOT user friendly, no one wants it even for free. Example, Linux Mint, Ubuntu, and you name something else based on Ubuntu, will have problems with even old hardware, aka broadcom's wireless drivers.
Yes I said Linux' biggest problem is not M$, but Linux' community itself. Make Google and Apple give CREDIT where its due, in their Marketting/Advertising. Make it mandatory. Has anyone ever read the "About" section in the iOs devices? No one reads that. You guys want M$ to win? What has changed in the last 10 years since XP? And before anyone jumps in, I am a Backtrack user. Trolling complete.
